Best Buddies is the world’s largest organization dedicated to ending the social, physical and economic isolation of the 200 million people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

For individuals with IDD, Best Buddies helps them form meaningful friendships, secure successful jobs, live independently, and feel valued by society.

Best Buddies International needed to remodel how they engaged with their online community, and came to us looking to refine their brand & better align their mission to their audience.

 

Here's How We Did It

Together, we helped shape the Best Buddies brand to focus on enduring one-on-one friendships created through the organization’s global movement, and emphasized the lasting impact on parents, teachers, & buddies that small, personal connections – and donations – can make.

First, we focused our content strategy on the transformational power of friendship and inclusion, and grew Best Buddies' audience by more than [insert number] in 2016. 

With substantially increased engagement, we then created an extended Cyber Monday/Giving Tuesday email campaign that featured the deeply personal stories of teenagers & buddies whose lives were permanently affected by Best Buddies' rich history of supportive youth leadership.

 

The Result

We honed in on the phenomenal power of friendship, and re-invigorated Best Buddies' identity & outreach on a global scale. 

By encouraging donation matches & showcasing Best Buddies' amazing work through the eyes of its passionate volunteers, we generated more than [insert number] in email donations through our Giving Tuesday campaign.
